Shepard Fifth Grade Senior - College Scholarship Application
In honor of Becky Washington, for the many years she devoted to Shepard Elementary students, the Shepard PTA has established a college scholarship in her name in the amount of $500 to be awarded each spring.
All applications must be turned into the Shepard Front Desk by Friday, May 12 at noon.
Food Group Week (Feb 6-10) & Friendship Week (Feb 13-17)
As we focus on the "whole" child, during these two weeks we will be discussing different ways our students can experience nourishment and balance in their everyday lives.

Jazzercise Spirit Class, Saturday, February 11th
Calling all Shepard parents and friends!
Save the date for Shepard's Jazzercise Spirit class at Plano Jazzercise Center Saturday, February 11th at noon for a great workout, fun, laughter and prizes. It's a $20 donation either online ahead of time https://shepardpta.membershiptoolkit.com/form/m/27284 or cash at the door.
$1 per raffle ticket for door prizes that will be awarded while dancing with friends...what could be better???? Let's have fun, exercise, be healthy, and support our school. See you there!

Collect Box Tops for the Spring Popcorn Contest
Start collecting your Box Tops again for the Spring Popcorn contest!
This semester, we will also have an Individual Contest, with the prize being a gift card (yet to be determined).
Place your Box Tops in a ziplock baggie with your child's name and grade on it.

2015-16 Voluntary Student Accident Insurance
The enrollment method parents can use to enroll students for voluntary accident insurance has changed. Parents can enroll online utilizing the internet instead of submitting a paper application. The company (Markel) has dedicated a secure enrollment website. The website address is http://markel.sevencorners.com.
